How the free trial works

Every new workspace in RecodeQR starts with a free 14-day trial — no credit card required. That gives you full access to explore the platform before deciding to upgrade.

What's included in the trial?

During the trial, you get full access to the Starter plan:

Create both static and dynamic QR codes
Track scans in real time
Customize design and branding
Set up custom domains
Invite teammates
Use the API and webhooks

It's the full experience — that way you can see how everything works before committing.

How long does it last?

The trial lasts 14 days from the moment a workspace is created.

You'll see a banner in your dashboard with how many days are left. We’ll also email you a reminder before the trial ends — and another when it does.

What happens when the trial ends?

If you don’t upgrade by the end of the trial:

Dynamic QR codes will stop working (they’ll show an expiration message)
Your workspace will be locked, and paid features will become inaccessible
You’ll still be able to log in, download invoices, or upgrade when ready
Nothing is deleted — your data, codes, and settings remain safely stored

Once you upgrade, everything is reactivated and works immediately.

Upgrade during your trial

To avoid any interruptions:

Go to Workspace settings > Subscription
Click Upgrade now
Choose a plan and enter billing details

Upgrades are processed immediately. If you switch plans later, you'll be charged or credited based on the price difference.
