QR codes on your own domain
Serve your dynamic QR codes from a subdomain you own. People see your brand when they scan, and the links you print are yours.
Links on your own subdomain
Readable links like /menu

Whose link are people scanning?
Phones show the link in a QR code before opening it. On a shared domain, that link carries our name instead of yours, and a domain people don't know can make them hesitate.
Your codes, on your domain
Add a subdomain like qr.yourdomain.com, create one DNS record, and pick it when you create a dynamic QR code. You can still edit destinations and track scans as usual.
Readable, branded links
Give each code a custom slug like qr.yourdomain.com/menu instead of a generated ID. People see a link they recognize before they open it.
Your own reputation
Your domain's reputation depends only on your own codes, not on how anyone else uses a shared domain.
You own the printed links
The links on your printed codes are on your domain. With custom slugs, you can later point the domain at another service or your own setup.

Frequently asked questions
-
Every dynamic QR code holds a short link that points to RecodeQR, which then sends people to your destination. With a custom domain, that link uses a subdomain you own, like qr.yourdomain.com, instead of our shared domain.
-
Add your subdomain under Custom Domains in your dashboard, then create the CNAME record we show you where you manage your DNS. It usually goes live in minutes, but can take up to 24 hours. We issue and renew the HTTPS certificate for you.
-
No. Custom domains use a subdomain, like qr.yourdomain.com or go.yourdomain.com, so your main website stays where it is.
-
No. The link is printed in the code, so its domain can't change after you create it. Set up your domain before you print, then create new codes on it. You can still change where any code leads.
-
No. A static QR code contains your destination directly, so there's no RecodeQR link to put on your domain. Custom domains work with dynamic QR codes.
-
Yes. Add the CNAME record and set its proxy status to DNS only (grey cloud). We handle HTTPS for you.

Custom domains are included in the Starter, Pro and Business plans, and in the free trial. See our pricing page for how many each plan includes.
