Create your first QR code

Once you’ve signed up and landed in your dashboard, here’s how to create your first QR code in just a few steps.

Step 1: Click “Create QR code”

From your dashboard, click the Create QR code button.
If this is your first time, you’ll see a welcome message — that just means you haven’t created any codes yet.

Step 2: Choose the QR code type

Pick the type of QR code you want to create. The most common option is Link, which opens a website or URL when scanned.

Other types include:

  • Text
  • vCard or MeCard (contact cards)
  • SMS or phone call
  • Email, event, or WiFi
  • Crypto wallet

Not sure? Start with Link — it's the most versatile option.

Step 3: Add your content

Paste the destination URL or content you want the code to point to.

Then, choose between:

  • Static – fixed and uneditable after creation
  • Dynamic – editable later, plus tracking, UTM support, and access controls

If you're printing the code or using it in a campaign, dynamic is usually the better choice.

Step 4: Customize the design (optional)

Style your QR code to match your brand or campaign.

  • Choose foreground/background colors
  • Upload a logo, or pick one from the presets (e.g. YouTube, Instagram)
  • Use the “remove logo background” toggle for a cleaner result

There’s a live preview so you can test your look in real time — or keep it simple and skip styling for now.

Step 5: Generate and manage your code

Click Create QR code to finish.

You’ll be taken back to the dashboard, where you can now:

  • View scan analytics (for dynamic codes)
  • Download the code (PNG, JPEG, PDF, EPS, SVG)
  • Edit, pause, or delete the code
  • Duplicate it as a template

You can now share or print your QR code.
